Apple iPhone 7 Explodes On Man’s Face While Recording Video

Short Bytes: A man was shooting a video on his new iPhone 7 but the phone didn’t like him and exploded causing injuries on his face and on his hand. The incident has been reported to Apple and has reached all the way to their headquarters.

Apple reinvented the bomb with the launch of the iPhone 7. Earlier, an iPhone 7 explosion injured a student’s ass and now a man got a hard blow on his face.

Gizmochina has reported that a man was shooting a video with his new iPhone 7. The device burst and the glass pieces caused bruises on his face and one his fingers on the right hand swelled.
He notified the incident to the Apple care but they told him that they had no authority to look into the matter. The complaint was forwarded to Apple headquarters. Also, it’s still unknown from where the man purchased the iPhone.
It’s not the fact that Apple is the only company to have such issues. It’s legal rival Samsung has also made some bombs which injured a 6-year-old boy and caused billions of dollars of revenue loss to Samsung. They sent replacement devices even those turned into bombs.

Traffic enforcer distorted body from road accident; dies

On October 14 at around 4 PM, a man was hit by a truck in Paso de Blas, a particular area in Valenzuela City which is prone to accidents, and had his lower body distorted which caused his death.

A picture of him was uploadedby Facebook user Gheltot Demition Guzman and there commenters provided information about the victim, including some who personally knew him.

The man is identified to be Reymart Discaya, according to the Filipino netizens who commented on a picture of him lying on the ground, and was working as a 'Red Boy' or traffic management officer of Valenzuela.

A video was uploaded on Facebook by a concerned netizen but was took down hours later probably because of how grotesque it was. In the video, the victim was seen lying on the ground with his lower body distorted in a split-like position.

He was still alive by then and passersby are flocking over the area but were not able to help him because of his unusual condition so they were just waiting for medical help. Unfortunately, the victim was not treated by emergency help and died later on.

Some commenters on the video claim that the traffic in Paso de Blas is always extremely heavy so it's possible that medical help have been late.

The video also showed the truck who ran over the victim. It was a Maersk heavy truck and could be seen stopped on the side of the road.

Paso de Blas is notoriously known for road accidents and this is not the first time in the year that such accident happened.

A dog has won the first place in the UK’s best dressed competition after his dress sense and hairdo had “striking resemblance” to Republican nominee Donald Trump. Spud, a three-year old boxer from Lancashire in England, dressed in a pinstripe suit and silk blue tie and with a wispy fringe, he beat off dozens of rivals to take first place in the competition.
The show, hosted by an online retail firm Banana Moon clothing, saw dogs line up in their best outfits for the chance to win the title, the Daily Mirror reported. Spud beat off his competitors after his dress sense and hairdo reminded the judges of the Republican candidate Donald Trump.
“The UK’s Best Dressed Dog competition attracted 82 fabulous entries, all of which were worthy winners, but it was Spud who was chosen due to his striking resemblance to Donald Trump and the fact that his photo made everyone in our office laugh,” Alex Grace, managing director at Banana Moon clothing, said.
However, although his owner described her pet as the “class clown”, he managed to escape the show without controversy. “Spud is chuffed to bits to have won. He’s like the class clown, very popular with his friends, but doesn’t usually win first prize in anything because he’s too busy not taking anything seriously,” Spud’s owner Diane Goulding said.
“He loves praise, especially when he’s called handsome. Winning best dressed is an honour,” Goulding said. Finalists included Isobella the Lurcher from Leeds, who was dressed in a red hat and coat combo, Stanly the Chihuahua from Kent who dressed in a superhero costume, and Buddy the miniature poodle from Hackney, east London.
“As an online provider of personalised dog clothing, we decided it would be fun to launch a hunt for the UK’s Best Dressed Dog,” Grace said. “The competition was inspired by our own three dogs who love nothing more than wearing their jumpers,” he said.
“Although being dressed up might not be enjoyable for all dogs, there are plenty of pooches who love it, our office dogs included,” Grace said.

China’s Insanely Strong Liquor is Lowering Its Alcohol Proof Because Western People Are Weak Sauce

China’s Insanely Strong Liquor is Lowering Its Alcohol Proof Because Western People Are Weak Sauce

The Chinese liquor baijiu (白酒), known for its significantly higher alcohol content, is getting a tamed Western makeover.

While the 106-proof alcohol has been distilled the same way for nearly a millennium in China, local distillers are looking to adapt the drink for western markets due to decreasing local sales, reports Bloomberg.
Baijiu makers are seeking to recover from the drop in sales following the Chinese government’s anti-corruption crackdown, which directly limited officials’ lavish parties that are usually flooded with Baijiu. Overall, sales fell by 13% and its prices dropped by 50%.
Experimenting with fruits and ginseng and lowering its fiery potency, Chinese distillers are hoping to rebrand the liquor as “the new tequila” for Americans and Europeans, lowering its alcohol content to 80 proof.

To mask the liquor’s distinct pungency, the companies are testing mixes with grapefruit juice, Angostura bitters and brown sugar. They have also began promoting the new mixes at select bars in the U.S., U.K. and Australia.

Orson Salicetti of the Lumos bar in New York has expressed his support for the drink.
“Baijiu is not a spirit you can just pour into a martini glass and grow an appreciation for its taste immediately,” he said.
“The trick to appreciating baijiu is embracing its unfamiliar flavor in cocktails.”
The popular Chinese drink, also called “white liquor,” is created with sorghum, rice, wheat or corn. Euromonitor International reported that Baijiu makers sold around 5.5 billion liters, or 1.5 billion gallons of the the drink last year.
Old and new players are engaging themselves in creating the Baijiu most palatable to Western tastes, each introducing their new take on the thousand-year-old Chinese drink. Hopefully, in the companies’ quests to evolve the beloved product, the spirit of what makes it Baijiu gets retained.

Jack Ma and Steven Spielberg are Teaming Up To Make Movies in China

Award-winning American director Steven Spielberg has paired up with China’s richest man, Jack Ma, in a deal that would bring Hollywood a lot closer to China.

The team-up has Ma’s Alibaba Pictures working together with the all-time highest-grossing filmmaker’s Amblin Partners, a film and television production outfit, according to Bloomberg.

The deal, which provided Alibaba Pictures a minority stake in Amblin and a representation in its board of directors, will allow the American firm a crack at the world’s second largest box office where there is a huge demand for global content.
“I believe this collaboration can serve as a cultural bridge and have a positive impact on the next generation of Chinese consumers,” Alibaba Group founder and executive chairman Jack Ma was quoted as saying.
Amblin’s productions may also benefit from gaining distribution via China’s top video streaming site Youku Tudou, which was recently acquired by Alibaba.
Alibaba has shown considerable increase in interest in media and entertainment with its recent acquisitions. It has also recently invested in several Hollywood movie productions this year, including “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows”, “Star Trek Beyond”, and “Mission Impossible” among the most notable.
China’s interest in Hollywood is gaining much traction lately, with Wang Jianlin, another Chinese billionaire, purchasing stakes in a number of American film studios. Wang recently signed up to invest in Sony Pictures a few months after buying a controlling stake in Legendary Entertainment earlier this year.
