26 killed in Bus accident at Carranglan Nueva Ecija

At least 26 people were killed and 22 hurt after a passenger bus crashed into a ravine in Carranglan Nueva Ecija on Tuesday April 18, 2017.

The bus fell 24 meters (80 feet) in the rift because of brake failure and the serpentine road, authorities said

"The vehicle is totally wrecked", senior inspector Robert De Guzman said, police chief of Carranglan town. Almost all of the passengers, both dead and injured, were found outside the bus.

The injured were immediately brought to nearby hospitals.

Local authorities are still investigating the incident. According to Carrangalan Mayor Mary Abad, the bus was carrying 60 passengers even though it only had the official capacity of 45.

The road is really risky. There are many ravines along that road going to Abra, Abad said.
Have you ever ridden a bus that drove wildly on a windy mountain road? Who do you think is at fault the driver, the company or the local government? Share your opinions in the comment section below

The street links Eulogio Rodriguez Sr. Avenue in the village of Mariana in the south with Eugenio Lopez Drive (formerly Scout Albano Street) in South Triangle in the north, and passes through Sacred Heart, Laging Handa, Kamuning, Obrero and Kristong Hari villages. It was named after the first mayor of Quezon City.

The street is known as a restaurant row located in Quezon City's entertainment area along with Timog Avenue and West Avenue. It is also known for its bars, discos, karaoke and comedy clubs, and as a popular hangout for local actors who work in the nearby studios such as the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center on Mother Ignacia Avenue and GMA Network Center on Timog Avenue.

A few days ago, an OFW passed away after being beaten to death by a group of partygoers at a bar called Perfect Spot Bar and Billiards. According to reports, the OFW accidentally bumped into one of them as he and his group was about to leave the said bar. The group followed him and beat him outside the bar—which was caught on CCTV.

In the videos, a man was attacked by several men, including two women. One of the women claimed that the man ‘touched’ her butt while they were inside the bar. While being attacked, the man simply covered his face and was curled up on the pavement. Several men stomped, kicked, and punched him without holding back.

And yes, they didn’t show any sign of remorse or regret.

Now at 39 years old, Huang has been offered a spot at his own country’s ‘freak show’, which he declined.

Huang, who is from Yulan village in Hunan Province’s Yongxin County, in Central China, has been the subject of medical studies as well as in-depth documentaries over the past decades, after he was found to be suffering the world’s worst known case of neurofibromatosis. How type fast hackers do?

A hacker is a term that first started being used in the 1960s and described a programmer or someone who hacked computer code. Later the term evolved into an individual who had an advanced understanding of computers, networking, programming, or hardware, but did not have any malicious intents.
Today, a malicious hacker is usually referred to as a malicious userblack hat, or criminal hacker, which describes any individual who illegally breaks into computer systems to damage or steal information. Some people who consider themselves leet may refer to themselves as a leet haxorsh4x0rs, or HaXXorZ. However, often these users are nothing more than script kiddies.

Are all hackers bad?

No. Although the media and most people think all hackers are malicious, most hackers are people who are curious about how computers, networks, or programs work and are often exploring and learning. It is only the malicious hackers (black hats) who are bad. White hat hackers are good and essential for today's computer security. Without white hat hackers, all computers would be much more vulnerable to attacks and when attacks did happen be much harder to find the who, when, and why the attack happened.

Male Guests Strip Down this Bride in Front of Her Groom in a Nasty Wedding Game—Shocking!

Male Guests Strip Down this Bride in Front of Her Groom in a Nasty Wedding Game

For many Asian couples, games are a fun and light-hearted tradition to look forward to at any wedding celebration. These games can get very creative, and usually have the goal of embarrassing the groom. But while most games start out to be light-hearted and simple, some guests can be overly excited and turn a simple game into something downright nasty.

The video, posted by user Jin Lun Fa Wang 1209 to the Chinese video-sharing platform, Miaopai, showed how a bride was literally stripped down in front of her groom. Apparently, it was all because of a game called ‘finding the peanuts’, wherein the term peanuts referred to their future children.
The bride and groom would lie down on their bed, while guests will look for the peanuts hidden among the couple. But instead of ‘looking’ for the peanuts, the guests resort to stripping the bride down to her undies, with one guest even attempting to grope her.
The groom appeared to feel uncomfortable at the game. He asked the guests to stop while trying to shield his bride using the duvet. It sparked an outcry from web users, who were shocked by the guests’ vulgar behaviour towards the bride.
One user commented: ‘This is bad folklore. It’s way out of line.’
Another user added: ‘Wedding games as such leave me speechless.’
A third user said: ‘What kind of friends are they? Why didn’t [the groom] feel angry when they stripped his wife?’
But many Chinese users claim that this was simply an isolated incident, as most Chinese wedding games are fun and light-hearted. The guests at the wedding were simply carried away, and this kind of rude behaviour doesn’t often happen at traditional weddings.

Drunk man tries to kick a dog but kisses concrete instead

CCTV recordings are usually used to catch suspects as crimes are caught on cam. Many private and public places now have these closed circuit TV’s to keep people safe from criminals. But of course, there are many scenes recorded that are funny and/or shocking.
In this video, an obviously drunk man tries to take out his anger on a dog and kicked him. Good thing the dog was fast enough to avoid the kick and was able to run to the right side. In a hilarious turn of events, the man hits the ground instead, face first! Funny as it is, surely the man was hurt (though he was not aware of the pain yet). Another man helped him stand up. He walked away swaying in his drunken stupor.

The Muhammad Ali Underwater Training Hoax

Early in his career, Muhammad Ali convinced the media that he regularly trained underwater.

The Sept 8, 1961 issue of Life magazine featured a photo essay about a young boxer, 19-year-old Cassius Clay, who had an unusual training technique. He trained underwater.

Clay had recently won a gold medal in the 1960 Olympics, and since going pro he had won his first eight matches. He was also making a name for himself outside the ring as a charismatic and outspoken character.

In 1964 he would win the world heavyweight championship and change his name to Muhammad Ali, by which history remembers him better. But in 1961 Clay was busy training for his ninth match, against Alex Miteff who outweighed him by twenty pounds. However, Clay was confident that his underwater training would give him the edge in the ring. The text of the photo essay explained:

"Not to be bragging or anything like that," says 19-year-old Cassius Marcellus Clay, "but they say I'm the fastest heavyweight in the ring today. That comes from punching under water." Taking a cue from the immortal Ty Cobb, who weighted his shoes in training so that he would feel feather-footed when the season started, Clay goes into a swimming pool and, as these underwater pictures show, does a stunt of submarine shadowboxing. "You try to box hard," he explains, "Then when you punch the same way out of water you got speed."

Clay did proceed to beat Miteff, knocking him out in the sixth round. So evidently the underwater training worked. Except, no. Clay didn't train underwater. In reality, the photoshoot he did for Life was the one and only time he ever trained underwater. He had invented the story about underwater training as a stunt to get publicity.

However, for years no one questioned the claim about training underwater. It was simply accepted as part of the lore of Muhammad Ali. Until finally, around 1997, the photographer who did the photoshoot, Flip Schulke, revealed that Ali had invented the story.

Life — Sep 8, 1961
The Story of the Photoshoot
In 1961, Sports Illustrated had assigned Schulke to take pictures of Clay. So Schulke traveled to Overtown, Florida where Clay was training.

When he first met Clay, Schulke tried to impress the young boxer by sharing examples of his work. For instance, Schulke revealed that he specialized in underwater photography and had recently had photos published in Life showing water-skiers from below the surface of the water.

Seeing these photos, Clay immediately told Schulke that it so happened that he trained underwater in a swimming pool because, "An old trainer up in Louisville told me that if I practice in the pool, the water resistance acts just like a weight."

Clay demonstrated by jumping into the pool at the hotel where he was staying (The Sir John Hotel) and started to throw punches in the water.

Underwater training sounded plausible enough to Schulke, and he thought photos of it would make an interesting feature, so he pitched the idea to Sports Illustrated. But the editor there, as Schulke later said, "thought I was crazy for taking pictures of a boxer in a swimming pool."

However, the editor also gave Schulke permission to pitch the idea to Life, saying, "Go ahead and ask Life if you want to. If they're dumb enough to, let them do it."

So Schulke called Life, and they liked the idea. Schulke proceeded with the photoshoot. The pictures ran in Life. And they became among the most celebrated sports photos of all time.

One of the pictures (below) from that shoot, showing Clay fully underwater with his fists raised, is one of the most famous pictures of Ali ever taken. But it didn't run in Lifebecause the editors there thought it looked too posed.

Schulke next met Clay three years later, after the boxer had won the world heavyweight championship. In his 2003 book Witness To Our Times Schulke described this meeting:

We were looking through a scrapbook, and when he came across my underwater pictures he winked at me. I realized he had taken me. I learned later he and his trainer had come up with the whole story on their own. He didn’t even know how to swim…. he fooled everybody - and it made fantastic pictures.

'The Mummy' Reboot: Tom Cruise Rises From the Dead in Intense First Trailer

The Mummy franchise is coming back to life. The first official trailer for The Mummy reboot, starring Tom Cruise, premiered on Sunday, December 4, during Sunday Night Football.

Watch Video: usmagazine.com

At the beginning of the clip, Cruise’s character, Nick Morton, dies in a bizarre plane crash when the aircraft — which is carrying an ancient Egyptian sarcophagus — is attacked by a flock of birds. Morton later appears to rise from the dead, unzipping himself from a body bag in a morgue and gasping for air.
“Welcome to a new world of gods and monsters,” Russell Crowe, who plays Dr. Henry Jekyll, narrates.

An ancient princess (played by Sofia Boutella) has also come back to life and escaped from her crypt to terrorize modern-day London. “Please meet Princess Ahmanet,” Dr. Jekyll tells Morton. “She will claim what she has been denied.”

Tom Cruise stars in 'The Mummy' new reboot.

There’s plenty of action in the trailer, including fires, explosions, guns, helicopters and chases. The film also stars Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson and Courtney B. Vance.

The last film of the most recent Mummy franchise trilogy, which starred Brendan Fraser, was released in 2008, and the internet had mixed reactions about another remake so soon. “Why the hell are they remaking The Mummy. You cannot remake perfection,” one person tweeted. “Brendan Fraser only. What is this new Tom Cruise The Mummy? #notmymummy,” another tweeted wrote.

Others were pumped for the action movie. “Wow. I dug #TheMummy trailer. Some interesting story in there with Tom Cruise’s character. Also, he’s running in a scene so all is on point.”
The Mummy hits theaters on June 9, 2017.
