This Newborn Baby’s Rare Condition Makes Him Looks Like An 80-Year-Old Man

A newborn baby in Magura, Bangladesh stunned attending doctors after he was born with wrinkles, hollow eyes, a shrunken body and a thick layer of hair on his back.

The attending doctor said, “The baby does not look like a newborn at all. There are prominent signs of aging such an excessive wrinkles and rough skin texture.”
Apparently, he has a rare condition called Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome (HGPS).

HGPS affects just one in four million which causes a body to age faster than it should.

According to Daily Mail, “Progeria is caused by a single mistake in a particular gene, which causes it to make abnormal protein. When cells use this protein, called progerin, they break down more easily. Progerin builds up in many cells of children with progeria, thereby causing them to age more quickly. Although most children with the condition appear healthy when they are born, they start to show signs of the disease during their first year.”

Despite the baby’s appearance, his parents were still happy for his birth.

Biswajit Patro, the baby’s father said, “We can only thank God. There is no need to be unhappy about the appearance of my son. We will accept him the way he is. We are so happy to have a baby boy in the house. We are already blessed to have a daughter. Now we are a family of four. What else can we ask for.”

The local hospital has assured the family that the baby will do well for now. But they were uncertain to what measures can be taken to treat the boy and help him with the condition as he grows older.
However, the family remains positive that the baby will grow up healthy despite the fact that most children with progeria could not live past the age of 13.
Meanwhile, Biswajit and his wife, Parul, welcomed curious people in their home just to catch a glimpse of their son.

Someone Dubbed Cat Videos With Anime Dialogue and It’s AMAZING

Japanese manga and anime series Sword Art Online is set to release its latest video game iteration called Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on October 27. To drum up excitement among fans, video game publisher Bandai Namco has prepared some witty promotional videos that feature.

Featuring cute kitties playfully performing dialogue spoken by voice actors of the popular series, Sword Art Onnyain (nya = meow in Japan) is a fun mix of dramatic lines and sound effects over adorable kitty visuals.
One episode, titled “I Can Read Your Moves,” features Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, who does voice acting for SAO protagonist Kirito. Matsuoka’s dialogue is perfectly matched with a cat which looked like fighting for its life against a toy.

The dialogue, translated by Rocketnews24, reads: “Come on! I can read your moves! This is the end! STARBURST STREAM!”
Another video,“Sleeping Next to Each Other,” lends the voices of Kirito and Asuna in a romantic moment.

“Kirito-kun, it’s embarrassing if you stare at me that much.”
“So-, sorry. I was careless.”
“Careless? What do you mean?”
“I…was thinking that you really are beautiful. So I couldn’t help staring.”
“Th-, thanks. I’m embarrassed, but happy. But you know, you’re handsome, too.”
“Re-, really? Co-, come closer.”
In “Combat Training,” Kirito can be heard giving instructions to a student on sword wielding. The accompanying cat-visuals is equally engaging.

“Please teach me how to fight.”
“Let’s start with the basics. First, lower your stance and hold your sword out in front of you.”
“Like this?”
“No, not quite. Put your feet forward a little farther, and think about your center of gravity.”
“Like this?”
“Yeah. Now, thrust your sword with all your might.”
“Thrust…with all my might?”
“Hey, you almost stabbed me!”

Shanghai Gang Uses Women to Con Foreigners Into Buying Terrible Overpriced Alcohol

A court in China has found a bunch of gangsters guilty of ripping off foreigners by selling hugely overpriced bottom-shelf liquor in their bar.
The unnamed bar, which opened in February on Wuding Road in the Jing’an District of Shanghai, reportedly housed ladies who were employed primarily to get foreign customers into ordering their expensive drinks, according to Shanghai Daily. The shady establishment also offers special “massages” from the female employees.
Once duped, there was no way of getting out without being burned by the con artists. Refusing to pay for the ridiculously priced liquor would result in intimidation and threats from the gang members and occasionally, even confinement within the bar, court documents revealed. The courts also found that when customers get to leave after payment, gangsters would be following them to make sure they wouldn’t call the police.
Within a month, the said bar was able to con eight foreigners out of 44,180 yuan ($6,560) in total. Some of the victims later informed the authorities of the scam, leading to the discovery of the syndicate on March 15. The ten gang members, who were found to be guilty of extortion by the Jing’an People’s Court, were given suspended jail sentences ranging from 12 to 37 months.

Filipino Student Stabbed to Death While Bystanders Ignored Him

Editor’s Note: A previous version of this article stated that the victim, Nick Russell Oniot, was an engineering student. He was, in fact, an architecture student.

A teenager from the Philippines was walking on a street several blocks away from his home when he was attacked and killed by two muggers late in the evening last week. Security camera footage revealed, however, that before he died, he was able to reach out for help from motorists in the vicinity. Unfortunately, the victim, Nick Russell Oniot, was ignored.

The video showed the criminals trying to snatch the victim’s bag but he refused to give it up. He was seen being stabbed several times by one of the attackers. He then summed up his strength to approach a few vehicles to seek help, but no one apparently wanted to get involved. The victim was later revealed to have been stabbed 18 times, according to the Philippine Daily Inquirer

While the 18-year-old architecture student was helplessly lying on the road, a man was seen looking at him, but still opted not to help.

The unfortunate incident that befell the student immediately went viral on local social media in the Philippines. Many netizens have expressed their sympathies and grief for the life lost while others expressed anger toward the unhelpful motorists who could have saved a dying young man.
The attackers have since been arrested after being identified through the CCTV footage. One of the them, however, was reportedly shot by a policeman after he tried to escape.
“Even if there’s a feeling of satisfaction that the suspects were arrested, it won’t bring back my brother’s life. We’re just glad that there was quick police action, and that’s what happened to the suspect,” Nick’s sister Shiela, 25, told thePhilippine Daily Inquirer on Wednesday.

Mystical Chinese Man Claims He Can Predict a Woman’s Future by Fondling Her Breasts

An elderly man, believed to be a mystic in China, has a very strange way of telling the fortune of his clients. The unnamed Chinese clairvoyant is said to be able to tell a woman’s future by fondling her breasts.

A short footage of ‘Mr. Strange’ performing his unique fortune-telling techniques was recently uploaded and shared online. The video has since gone viral in Chinese social media and has accumulated hundreds of thousands of views, reported the Mirror.
Initially posted by a user called Xiao Yuwen on the Chinese video-sharing site Miaopai, the mysterious man is shown to be quite busy at his “craft,” cupping a client’s breasts with one hand while holding a pair of crutches on his other hand.
His stoic facial expression seems to indicate his high level of focus and concentration. The woman, while patiently awaiting the prediction, quietly rests her chin on her hand. Meanwhile, onlookers curiously watched as the master does his thing.

In China, fortune telling through palm reading, face reading, numerology, astrology and other forms of divination have been part of the traditional culture since ancient times and have persistently enjoyed mainstream acceptance even in modern times.
Strange as this may seem, reading a person’s personality through their breasts has been practiced in other cultures. In Spain, the character and personality of a woman is said to be determined by a practice called sternomancy, which involves keen observation of the bumps that exist from the breasts to the belly.
In Japan, a form of divination called “nyuurin uranai” also determines the personality of a person by the shape and color of his or her nipples.
Although his practice may have been inspired by such methods, the Chinese master’s boob-reading technique looked like a unique method that he himself developed.
