9-year-old College Student Dreams of Becoming an Astrophysicist to Prove God’s Existence
As a nine-year-old student, I would often go out and play with my friends and classmates. We enjoyed our childhood by exploring the world outside together with friends and family. But for 9-year-old William Maillis, planning for his bright future ahead is what matters most.
At only 6 months old, William was already able to identify words and numbers—and by 7 months old, he was able to speak complete sentences. He was two when he was able to read, write and use multiplication, he could read Greek aged four and geometry at five. Today, at nine years old, William is already a student at the Community College of Allegheny County.
William, from Penn Township, Pennsylvania, says he wants to be an Astrophysicist to prove God’s existence: ‘I want to prove to everybody that God does exist.’

He will do this by showing that only an outside force could be capable of creating the universe.
According to Peter’s history professor Aaron Hoffman, William is the only pupil who doesn’t take notes – instead, he listens, reads and absorbs the material.
When asked what his goal in life is, he says: ‘I want to prove to everybody that God does exist.’

Hurricane Matthew: Hundreds dead in Haiti storm disaster
The death toll in Haiti as a result of Hurricane Matthew has soared to 283, the government says.
Some 50 people were reported to have died in the southern town of Roche-a-Bateau alone.
The peninsula's main city, Jeremie, saw 80% of its buildings levelled. In Sud province 30,000 homes were destroyed.
The hurricane has again been upgraded to a Category Four storm, the second highest hurricane classification, as it heads for the US state of Florida.

- Eyewitness: 'My neighbour's house was destroyed'
The new death toll was given by Haitian government officials. On Thursday, a toll of just over 100 was being given.
Hurricane Matthew - the most powerful Caribbean storm in nearly a decade - has pounded the Bahamas after slicing through Haiti and Cuba.
Trees and power lines were reportedly down in the Bahamas but no fatalities were reported.
Most of the fatalities in Haiti were in towns and fishing villages around the southern coast, with many killed by falling trees, flying debris and swollen rivers.
The storm passed directly through the Tiburon peninsula, driving the sea inland and flattening homes with winds of up to 230km/h (145mph) and torrential rain on Monday and Tuesday.
The collapse of an important bridge on Tuesday had left the south-west largely cut off.
Non-governmental organisations said phone coverage and electricity were down and people were running out of food and water.
The BBC's Tony Brown in south-western Haiti said he had seen people trying to cope with the mass destruction on their own, trying to rebuild from the rubble but without the help of the army or police.

Ten crucial questions that will help you reboot your life
1. When was the last time you drank some water?
2. When was the last time you late?
3. When was the last time you got some exercise?
4. When was the last time you did something that gave you a sense of completion?
5. When was the last time you ate some fruit?
6. When was the last time you praised yourself?
7. When was the last time you slept? For how long?
8. When was the last time you said something nice to someone?
9. Have you hugged someone in the past two days? How many times?
10. Have you recently worn yourself out? (Physically or Psychologically)
You’ve got a huge amount of work to do, and you’re arguing all the time with those close to you. All of this might seem manageable, but when problems pile up they can suck the life out of you. If you’ve done what needs to be done, find somewhere to lie down and take a rest. Take a deep breath over the course of five seconds, hold it, and breathe out for eight. Do it again. Lie like this for about ten minutes, focusing on your breathing and not on the thoughts that come into your head.
Look after yourself.
BEWARE! This College Student was Set on Fire When His iPhone6 Plus Exploded In His Back Pocket!
We all know that Latest Mobile Phones are very popular nowadays, be it the Samsung Galaxy 7s or the iPhone 6/7s. They keep enhancing and upgrading not just the software but also the hardware. But one concern is the battery life, most of the tech-savvy persons would opt to have a phone that has a larger battery capacity.
Who would’ve thought that our iPhone could be a threat to our life!
Just last month, Samsung Galaxy 7s were recalled from the market after incidents of randomly blowing up. Reason? The phone’s battery has a defect. But that issue has faded now, the one that we’re talking about here is an iPhone 6 Plus that exploded in the pocket of this student from Philadelphia.
Darin Hlavaty, the victim, got caught on fire while inside the class after his phone exploded in his back. Yes, he got caught on fire!
He was reaching for his pocket to get a pen, but he noticed that his phone started smoking until a fire was lit. He started feeling this hot burning sensation in his leg.
Because of the pain, he panicked and threw the device across the room.
“It was super hot so I flinched, grabbed it, and threw it on the ground”, “I had to kick it because it was on fire.” He said.
You can see from the picture below that the device was burnt to crisp. Imagine if he hadn’t removed it from his pocket.
A fellow student said that he heard an odd “fizzing and popping sound” before his pocket started smoking. No other student was hurt in the incident and campus public safety arrived at the scene. Their class were moved to another room because their previous room was reeking of smoky-smell.
Though everyone knows that this is not an isolated case,
Here’s a similar incident where a a man’s leg was burned because of an iPhone exploding.
